Hammerheads use their wide heads to attack stingrays, pinning the winged fish to the sea floor. The shape of their heads helps them to find their prey. Their wide set eyes give them a better visual than other sharks. Stingrays are their favorite meal; the hammerheads are able to detect them even when they bury themselves in the sand.
