They have darker areas around their eyes making them look like bandits. They use their front paws and fingers to find and feast on food. They snare a lot of their food in water and forage mostly at night. They are opportunistic and will sleep just about anywhere and eat just about anything. They gorge and store fat in the spring and summer and spend most of the winter asleep in their dens.
